In-Print Books - We carry over 600 titles of
in–print books, 90% of which are generally in stock at any given time. Titles are
carefully considered to give you the best information available on a wide variety of earth
science subjects, including: Mineralogy; Mining & Mining Districts; Mining History;
Gemology & Lapidary; Geology; Meteorites; Paleontology; Handbooks and Locality &
Field Guides; and Books for Beginners. We are also an Authorized Distributor for the
Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology and carry virtually all of their in-print publications
and maps.
Out-of-Print Books - We have been accumulating collections
of out-of-print and used earth science publications for more than 20 years, having over
50, 000 items in inventory. Our specialty is state and federal government publications. We
have an extensive inventory of publications from the US Geological Survey, US Bureau of
Mines, US state geological surveys, and Canadian federal and provincial reports.
Quantities are limited for most items (many are one-of-a-kind) and are
constantly changing. We try to sell only complete copies (with all pages, maps and
plates), although covers may not be present in some cases. We rebind publications as
warranted, utilizing a high-quality bindery, for publications in need of repair to
preserve valuable information for decades to come.
